Python Job: Software Engineer (Python Developer)

Cameo Global, a New Era Technology Company is seeking an IT Software Engineer that has extensive experience in building large scale software applications, tools, and analytics. You will be working within an agile scrum team to develop management and operational automation. Within the team, you will be pivotal to the architecture, design, and best practices of building tools. You will be responsible for supporting the operations of the software using a DevOps mindset.

Job Responsibilities:

• Works with technical leads and product owner on designing and creating out-of-the-box solutions for stakeholder’s feature requests
• Establishes standards and best practices for quality assurance
• Collaborates with agile team members on solutioning and developing applications and tools
• Provides mentorship to junior developers and peers
• Participates in regular scrum ceremonies to ensure product success

Qualifications:

• 3+ Years of software development experience
• CI/CD tool experience: Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, CAE for Openshift, JIRA or similar
• Design and Development Experience in Python, Javascript, Flask, HTML, CSS, React
• Proficient in working on Linux systems and various databases like SQL, Mongo, and Elastic Search
• Experience in DevOps, scrum methodologies, Scaled Agile Framework, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery framework is required.
• In-depth software testing (functional, unit, integration, non-functional, performance, TDD, security, etc)
• Excellent knowledge of building cloud-native and server-side RESTful applications, APIs and automation tools
• Docker for containerization

Desired Skills:

• Familiar with data center infrastructure management technologies and design
• Experience in analytics using Grafana dashboards
